TheMongolz from Mongolia, become the final team to complete the list for the upcoming ZEN Esports Network League in the Asia-Pacific region.
The last thing we heard on TheMongolz was the return of Enkhtaivan "Machinegun" Lkhagva to the active lineup in December 2016, filling in the void left by Temuulen "Zilkenberg" Battulga's departure and his whereabouts are currently unknown.
The Mongolians first broke out into the international scene last year by winning IEM Taipei 2016 over the Australian Renegades led by Chad "SPUNJ" Burchill at the time.
Nine months later, the core roster without Machinegun (who was in Splyce), grabbed their second international title by winning ROG Masters Asia in November, which consisted of teams from Asia and Australia.
ZEN League will be the first tournament for TheMongolz this year
In the announcement, this is what Tsog "Tsogoo" Mashbat had to say on the matter:
"For me ZEN League is the league that we were waiting for a long time. Because this league gives a chance for Oceania and Asian teams to face each other. And it'll be the first tournament in 2017 for us. We'll play with our best and will try to win the title."
With The MongolZ receiving the invitation to compete, the participants are as followed:
